How are you dealing with COVID-19?

It’s March Break, almost spring, and the weather is starting to warm up. I’m sure you’d rather be on vacation somewhere or enjoying time with family and friends. The last thing we want to send right now is another communication about COVID 19 and coronavirus. But here goes…

Things are changing so rapidly that we can’t send you a blanket response as to exactly how we’re going to operate over the coming days and weeks, but we did want to give you an idea of how we’re currently approaching things here at Jeff’s Outdoor.

Health, safety, and family come first.

Please follow the precautionary measures from Health Canada and the government, including social distancing, self isolation, and stepped-up hygiene. We’re encouraging the same for our staff. We’ve closed our office and all staff are working from home as much as possible. We are also providing extra time off to team members with family needs at home.

We’re making a few changes in how we provide service.

In order for our landscape sales and design teams to connect with you safely, we will be reaching out to newly-scheduled appointments with the following two options:

  1. Connect virtually (Facetime, Google Hangout)
  2. Drive-by site visit/follow up phone call combination

People’s lives are enriched through deeper relationships with the outdoors and with each other. We encourage you to take this temporary pause to reflect on the people and things that matter most to you. Check in on family and friends by phone, email, or social media (especially the elderly), and help maintain calm in your community.

Life will return to normal
Before you know it we’ll be enjoying outdoor barbecues and picnics. Until then, please stay healthy and safe and let us know if we can help you out in any way.
