How to Fix Your Porch

by Jeff Ronhaar
There's an old saying: "Make your front porch a part of your home, and it will make you a part of the world."

The front of your property can be a great place to sit and watch the world go by, either in the mornings or the evenings, depending on the orientation of your house.

As the entrance to your home, your front porch is a key to the the first impression visitors have of your home. Repairing your porch is an excellent first step toward improving your curb appeal and getting more enjoyment from the front of your home.

Unfortunately, while many of the homes we visit have beautiful gardens and lawns, the front porches are in a bad state. Sometimes steps are loose and chunks of concrete are missing, creating safety hazards for you and your visitors.

Porch surfaces can be improved in several attractive ways. Many of our clients choose flagstone, outdoor tiles, or pavers. We can use use mortar to adhere these finishes to the surface of your porch, creating an extremely durable finish and great looking finish.

Jeff Ronhaar, Head Coach at Jeff's Outdoor

Jeff's Outdoor began when an enterprising 14-year-old decided to turn paper route customers into lawncare customers. Jeff started with one mower and never looked back.

Jeff grew up always wanting his own way. He claims he rarely got it. That's debatable. He did get plenty of lessons about hard work, determination, and, above all, treating people right.
